pyWordyClock

pyWordyClock is a simple command line script that outputs an artsy, approximate, multiline clock.

It works pretty well with "text on desktop apps" like:

Download pyWordyClock

You can download this project in either zip or tar formats.

You can also clone the project with Git by running:

$ git clone git://github.com/kenlim/pyWordyClock

Install pyWordyClock

Create a clock face widget in GeekTool

Use GeekTool to create the background "Clock Face" widget:

Create the clock widget in GeekTool

Use GeekTool to create the clock widget itself:

Align the clock widget on top of the clock face widget

Use the same positioning data as the Clock Face Widget for the Clock, and the text should align perfectly

... and you're done!
